Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two individuals, typically wearing gloves, engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, and strategy by throwing punches at each other while trying to avoid being hit. The objective is to score points by landing punches on the opponent’s head and torso or to knock the opponent out (KO) to win the match. Competitions are held in a boxing ring and are structured into a series of rounds, with each round lasting a specific duration. Boxers are often categorized into weight classes to ensure fair competition. The sport has origins dating back to ancient times and is governed by a set of rules established by various organizations. Boxing is also viewed as a recreational activity and is practiced for fitness, self-defense, and discipline.
